This painting was partly inspired by the live version of the Iron Maiden song Wrathchild that was recorded in 1981 and released on the Maiden Japan album.
Faster and even more intensive than the studio version the track, as well as the rest of the album, displays an enthusiasm on behalf of the musicians that seems genuine and honest.
Playing the song while looking at the picture adds an additional dimension to it.
